Benefit Payment Control - ETA 227 Data for CY 1999 |
Attached is a display of national data for the Benefit Payment Control (BPC) program for Calendar Year 1999. It compares data from the State UI program with data from the programs for Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE) and Unemployment Compensation for Ex-Servicemembers (UCX).
A previous issuance, UIS Information Bulletin No. 01-00, displayed data from Calendar Years 1996-1998.
At a later date a transmittal will be made under separate cover to each Regional Office with similar data for the States in that Region. These transmittals will be for Regional Office use in tracking performance and analyzing trends, which could include:
comparing current data with 1996-1998 data from UIS Information Bulletin No. 01-00 to determine trends, and
comparing UCFE/UCX data with State UI data to ensure that the State is adhering to the requirement to apply State law/provisions equally to the Federal program claimants as to the State UI claimants.
