Logistics Information for Training Seminars for Benefit Accuracy Measurement (BAM) Staff on BAM Case Investigations |
Purpose. To announce an additional training seminar and provide information on remaining FY 1999 training seminars, including hotel and other logistics information, for training participants.

FY 1999 BAM Training Seminars for State Investigators. Three remaining sessions of approximately 30 participants each are scheduled as follows:

Logistics Information. The attached sheets provide information on location, hours, hotel arrangements, and ground transportation for the upcoming training seminars. A separate sheet is provided for each seminar.
State Nominees. Nominations for each session will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Nominations should indicate the session being requested. The deadlines shown above are for notification to the Regional Office (RO).

Begins: 8:30 AM - May 18, 1999A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel under the name "U.S. Department of Labor, BAM Training." The rate is $85 per night for a single or double room (taxes included). Each individual is responsible for contacting the hotel at 816-931-4400 to make his/her own reservations. Please reference the group name when making reservations to ensure the correct rate is quoted. Reservations must be made no later than April 16, 1999.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION: Shuttle service is available from the airport for approximately $24 round trip. You must phone the shuttle service upon arrival at the airport. Taxi fare to the hotel is approximately $30-35.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION: The hotel is located directly across the circle from the Foggy Bottom-GWU metro station on the blue line. The blue line is available from Reagan National Airport without a change of trains. Super Shuttle and taxi cabs are also available from all of the three local airports (Reagan National, Dulles, Baltimore-Washington).
