SUBJECT	:	UI Quality Control Special Study Questions and Answers

1. Purpose. To transmit answers to questions raised by SESAs and Regional Offices concerning UI/QC Special Studies.

2. Reference. UIPL 29-86

3. Background. Since UIPL 29-86 has been issued a number of questions concerning the subject matter of that directive have been received from SESAs and Regional Offices that need to be shared with all SESAs. This directive provides answers to the most frequently raised questions. These answers must be read in conjunction with UIPL 29-86, since the basic guidance on Special Studies is contained in that directive. Any additional questions should be referred to your Regional Office for response.

4. Action Required. SESA's are requested to share this information with appropriate staff and other interested parties.
