Answers to Questions and Comments Raised Concerning the Unemployment Insurance Quality Control (UI/QC) Program.

 

  1. Purpose. To transmit answers to questions raised concerning the UI/QC system.

  2. Reference. UIPL 19-84, UIPL 3-85, UIPL 21-85, ET Handbook No. 395.

  3. Background. The VI/QC system was implemented voluntarily on March 30,1986. Many questions and concerns have been raised regarding ET Handbook No. 395, analysis and corrective action, and the ADP software. The majority of the questions and comments came from the States and Regions when they reviewed the draft handbook.

    In keeping with our commitment to keep SESAs informed and encourage uniform QC methodology, the answers to the questions and concerns raised by SESAs and others are being transmitted to the SESAs for their information.

    The questions, concerns, and answers are grouped by subject matter for easy reference.

  4. Action Required. SESAs are requested to share this information with appropriate staff and other interested parties.

  5. Inquiries. Direct questions to your appropriate Regional Office.
