Purpose. To notify the States of the availability of a new publication, Training and Employment Report of the Secretary of Labor.
Background. While this edition of the Training and Employment Report of the Secretary of Labor examines activities of the Department's Employment and Training Administration during Program Year 1995 (July 1995-June 1996) and Fiscal Year 1996 (October l995-September 1996), the program descriptions and summaries of findings of research and evaluation studies contained in the document have considerable current value. The report is in two chapters: the first describes program developments and the second summarizes the results of research and evaluation projects.
Action Required. Please distribute the reports to appropriate officials within the State.
