| SUBJECT | : | Initial Directory of One-Stop Resources and Products |
Purpose. To advise the Employment and Training System that the National One-Stop/LMI Office in ETA has created the "Initial Directory of One-Stop Resources and Products" to facilitate access to the knowledge gained, lessons learned and products developed through selected Federally-funded activity.
Information. The National One-Stop/LMI Office has gathered One-Stop system building resources and products to produce the attached draft "Directory." The Directory will provide State and local Capacity Building Leads with valuable system building information and will help ensure that any duplication of effort is minimized. Among the many resource topics listed in the Directory are America's Career Kit, Quality, Welfare to Work and Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement information.
The Directory is by no means all inclusive as many States and local One-Stop practitioners and other One-Stop experts have created resources and products as well. The National One-Stop Capacity Building Workgroup has undertaken a project to inform the system of many of these additional resources (see Page 5 of the Directory). If your State or local partners have products or resources that should be included, a form is attached for your convenience in submitting this information to the Technical Assistance and Training Corporation.
Action Required. Please distribute the attached "Directory" to appropriate One-Stop Partners within the State. The Directory is available electronically at: www.ttrc.doleta.gov/onestop; select the section Newsletters, State Progress Reports, Resources and Conference Materials; then select capacity building resources.
Inquiries. Direct inquiries to Elaine Kolodny at 202-219-8395 x173.
