Purpose. To inform the employment and training community that the web page for the SYETP has been updated for this summer and to encourage its use.
Background. The SYETP web page, located at <http://www.wdsc.org/summeryouth>, became operational last summer and contained allocations, policy directives, questions and answers, and technical assistance directives and materials.
Web Site. The page has been updated for this summer and contains the Training and Employment Guidance Letter 3-96 with this year's allocations and policy guidance, Training and Employment Information Notice 25-96 transmitting this year's two new private sector summer jobs technical assistance guides, the texts of the guides, and last summer's SummerWorks guide.
Action. States should inform service delivery areas that the web page has been updated and encourage them to use it to assist in their SYETP operations.
